Five Dock Leisure Centre has facilities for the following indoor sports:

  - Indoor Soccer (white markings) 2 courts
  - Netball (white markings) 2 courts
  - Badminton (Green markings) 8 courts
  - Basketball (red markings with white sidelines) 2 courts
  - Volleyball * (blue markings) 3 courts

* Volleyball is not available for casual hire, nor is a competition held. Consideration will be given for special events upon request.

5-A-Side is an exciting, fast paced game, which is excellent for the development of skill particularly for our future junior stars. Played on a 30 x 15 meter court, with a heavier ball, this exciting brand of football originated from Brazil and is a major influence in the way the South Americans play 11-a-side outdoor football.

Games are played over 13 minute halves. There are 5 players on the field at any one time and unlimited interchange throughout the whole match.

Five Dock Leisure Centre runs 4 nights of 5-A-Side for Mens Competitions run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm – 10:30pm. Each competition features 3 divisions. The 7 teams in each division play against each other 3 times and have 3 byes in the regular 21 round season. The top 4 teams in each division advance through to the finals series, where 1st and 2nd have a double chance to advance to the Grand Final. The new season commences week starting September 8th 2008.

Mens Competition Fee Structure

$65.00 Player Registration. (Registration is valid for 1 year 1st September – 31st August)

The newly formed mixed competition is held on Wednesday Evenings between 6:00pm and 10:30pm. Currently there are three (3) divisions in this competition and new teams are always welcome to join. The top 4 teams in each division advance through to the 3 week Finals Series, where 1st and 2nd have a double chance to advance to the Grand Final. The new season will commence on the week of September 8th 2008.

Womens Competitions are held on Thursday Evenings between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. There is currently two divisions in this competition and new teams are always welcome to join. The top four teams in each division advance through to the 2 Week Finals Series. 1st plays off against 4th and 2nd plays 3rd and both winners advancing through to the Grand Final. The new season commences on the week of September 8th 2008.

The Centre also runs Junior Boys and Junior Girls competitions. The competitions go along side with the school terms with the upcoming Junior Boys Season commencing in October, 2008. The season runs til March 2009 just in time for the new outdoor football season.

Age groups 6/7 and 8/9: Thursday Afternoons: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Age Groups 10’s, 11’s, 12’s, 13’s and 14’s: Friday afternoons from 4:30pm – 9:30pm

$700.00 season team fee (covers all game fees and team nomination)

$45.00 Registration Fee Junior Players (8-14 Years)

Junior Girls competitions competition’s are run from April til September. 14 years girls play on Thursday Afternoons, with 16’s and 18’s Girls play on Friday Afternoons. The fee structures will be published as from the new season commences in April 2008.
